yes, my postmaster just died of cancer...he struggled with it for 5 yrs.
my neighbor is still fighting skin cancer.
my best friend's kidneys are failing. she only had 10% usage and is starting dialysis soon. she is on the kidney waiting list.

Yes, a 17 year old girl I work with has been given only about 6 months to live. Her heart is failing, and a heart transplant is not even an option. Very sad!!
