yes and yes my friend has had a kidney replaced .he work es with children that have or need organs. the world is better for his being here . his replacement is fa ling but his spirit is way up.

I don't know anyone who was an organ recipient, but I do have Organ Donor on my drivers license. I do not want to be like Terry Schiavo -- when I'm braindead, the docs can keep me plugged into those machines just long enough to take what they need. Then, pull the plug and send what's left to the nearest crematorium.

Today is her birthday, in fact... She would have been 40. We got seven more years with her after she had her heart transplant and I miss her still-- and more so today.
