Dubai is not so expensive as what u think but u need to make ur plan and set ur budjet, its a very good place for shopping especially electronics if needed, u can get hotels from 75$ USD up to 1000$ USD per night depending on the hotel, there are many places like: mall of the emirates/ibn batuta mall/city center deira/wafi city/mercatto/wild wady/jumeirah city/safari/jumeirah beach park.....etc.

It depends which country you're in because of the transfer rate. If you live in Europe or the UK you will get it the cheapest, still cheaper than the US. Obviously it depends when where in Dubai you go. My friend just went there and she said that everything was seriously cheap, but then again D&G is cheap to her so I don't know if you'd find it cheap.

to be honest .. its average .. because there are middle and low class people living and doing fine in Dubai ..
and btw the water bottle DOES NOT cost 7 $ .. its 1 UAE Dirham and the one DH is 0.272450 USD !!
so its almost same price .. a quarter ..

It is not just expensive, but it is very expensive! Yes true, there are choices for you to choose like normal water, mineral water and high class water. But most of them dont have choices. Like taxi which is sooooo expensive.

yes its expensive, the shopping is all upscale. They have an indoor ski resort you could always check out and then tell your friends you went snow skiing in the desert.

im pretty sure that everything there is really expensive. my friend showed me a hotel there and it cost like $10,000 just to walk inside of a room
