When I was a kid, I used to enjoy blackouts. Here in my country, blackouts occur mostly during summers, and typhoon seasons. If it was because of typhoon then I didn't have anything to do but sleep, but if it was a regular, cloudless night, then it is a different story.

My siblings and I usually go to the rooftop and enjoy lying on our backs and look at the stars. The stars are most visible during this occassions. In a moment or two, you will hear us laughing with some funny conversation we had and just lie there, looking at the stars, pretending we know alot of contellations and stuff.

I wish I could go back to that time.

If I had no electricity, I would probably spend all my time reading books. I used to read all the time when I was younger. Now it seems like I live on my computer or watching TV.

Complaining. Big Time.

I would ask God that what did I do to deserve such a terrible fate of having a black-out.
Swear at any thing or person in front of me.
Keep on calling the securtiy guards about when the light well come back.
Doing crap and finally drifting out to sleep...

Would you believe it?
Even though I have a stupid generator, it does not support the T.V. , A.C. or the Computer!!!
Now that's known as Bad Luck!

Feeling sorry for myself and wondering when it'll go back on. Then I start thinking about how dependent we are on electricity, and what did people do before it?

Well I have a laptop, so if the phones are still up I can still use the internet. If that's also not working I read. If it's dark out, I'll just go to bed.
