interesting question and yes, i do.. sometimes i get within a reasonable distance and give it a flying whirl into the corral - I love to hear it slam in there! lol

I always do this...my friends hate me for it, but I don't care.
If there is no "cart corral" (aaaw that is a cute name for them, we call them cart return), I take the cart back up to the front of the store on the sidewalk for the store staff to retrieve it.
The Publix's here in South Florida have no cart return as of yet (poor parking lot design plan), but the ones in Atlanta do, which is very weird!!!! I think because they are newer stores...good question btw-

I return it. I don't like to leave it there for someone else to pickup, you should pick up after yourself. I feel sorry for the ppl that have to put it back.

I try to return them. But if it's too far, I park it over a parking crub so it wouldn't hit any cars.

Only in America would they call it a corral! we cal it a trolly bay in Australia.
