well, kids.... I'm 53 years old and my incredible mom will be 90 this February! I could only wish to be as good as she is. She is an awesome mom who has never raised her voice to get her point across and yet raised 2 great kids (if I do say so myself!) and always let us lead our own lives and find our own ways, even when she didn't agree with what we were doing- then sympathize when things went wrong. She still lives alone (since my dad died a few yrs ago) and drives and has lots of wonderful friends who love her... and what's not to love? I try to emulate her, but she's a tough act to follow!

In a lot of ways, yes. That's not a bad thing though. My mom is one of the sweetest and most caring people I know. I wish I was a lot more like her. She wouldn't purposely hurt anyone.

I would not know. Mine died when I was just 12, and we did not spend a whole lot of time together. I have her love of good books, art, music and drama, but the little things have escaped me, sorry to say.

Yes. What's even worse is that I'm just like my FIANCE'S MOTHER! I get depressed when similarities are pointed out. There's a lot of them....I guess you do marry your mother/father. lol

Well I did let myself go a bit and start to develop boobs but I've put an end to that over the last 12 months.. so.. nope.
