I just replaced the batteries and can't find the back?!

Why spend good money on batteries for a mouse (and of course time spent looking for the back)?
You know, with a good optical 'wired' mouse, you have nothing to lose, and it's battery 'free' !

I would try looking behind the computer ; Or check near all your media devices are . Nothing much i can do here on the internet besides give you suggestions . Often time my things that i loose get entangled in the web of wires used to power my computer.
