Got it now..Warhorse had ex-Purple bassist Nick Simper and drummer Barney James,who briefly replaced Mac Poole,before going on to Wakeman.

Captain Beyond had the original Deep Purple singer(whose name escapes me at the moment). Not sure about the member of Rick Wakeman's band, though. Judging by your other questions, you probably know Captain Beyond, but I thought I'd mention that Monster Magnet really ripped them off with "Twin Earth"
