You missed some significant news about FEMA staging a fake press conference. I assumed it was a widely reported event.

This is not a lib or con issue. This is a matter of an incredibly clueless person making an incredibly stupid decision.

Head of FEMA probably not aware of this till after it happened based on the story line. The staffers need to have personal action taken against them.

I think I'm more upset with Dana Perino's response. Talk about disgusting.

"It's not something I would have condoned. And they, I'm sure, will not do it again.”

You've got to be kidding me. I seriously think that lady is a robot. How can you have such a nonchalant response to this? This isn't kindergarten, this is one of the most important branches of the government. They already f'd up Katrina. I don't trust them to do anything anymore. They need to put some new people in charge.

The twit responsible should be fired immediately for further embarrassing FEMA and the Bush administration. Bush can not afford another "heck of a job Brownie" moment.

He should be fired. No hearings or investigations. This organization is too important to have political operatives or morons involved. we need to professionalize government at all levels.

Well, you would have gotten the same info if he had just read a report, honey, it's really more telling to me how the MSM can't be trusted to tell the truth and how people have to evade them to get the truth out.

Sorry to hear your disgusted, but what does that have to do with punishing the head of FEMA?

Maybe I just missed the news. What, did he indicate that illegal aliens started the fires in Calif.?
