No
The origin of the word "fairy," as given by Thomas Keightley in his Fairy Mythology, and later in the Appendix of his Tales and Popular Fictions, is the Latin fatum, "to enchant." The word was derived directly from the French form of the root. The various forms of the root were:--
Latin . . . . fatum, "to enchant."
French . . . . fee, feerie, "illusion."
Italian . . . . fata.
Provencal . . . . fada.
In old French romance, fee was a "woman skilled in magic." "All those women were called Fays who had to do with enchantment and charms and knew the power and virtue of words, of stones, and of herbs, by which they were kept in youth and in great beauty and in great riches." This was true also of the Italian fata.
The word "fairy" was used in four senses. Fairy represented:--
(1) Illusion, or enchantment.
(2) Abode of the Faes, the country of the Fays.
(3) Inhabitants collectively, the people of Fairyland.
(4) The individual in Fairyland, the fairy Knight, or Elf.
The word was used in the fourth sense before the time of Chaucer. After the appearance of Spenser's Faerie Queene distinctions became confused, and the name of the real fairies was transferred to "the little beings who made the green, sour ringlets whereof the ewe not bites." The change adopted by the poets gained currency among the people. Fairies were identified with nymphs and elves. Shakespeare was the principal means of effecting this revolution, and in his Midsummer Night's Dream he has incorporated, most of the fairy lore known in England at his time. But the tales are older than their name.

Yes, fairies do exist.
I posted this a couple of weeks ago:
Here's an account from a Mrs. Stewart, the wife of a minister in Edinburgh whose father once saw the fairies as a small boy on the Isle of Skye:
"He and his sister had been left with their grandmother for the day while their mother went to nurse a sick neighbour. Another little boy was keeping them company. Time went on and the children grew tired and perhaps a little troublesome to the old lady when a friend came in whom they all liked and who was known to have the "sight". She saw how things were and said: 'Come with me and I'll show you something you'll like to see.' She had them hold hands in a chain and led them within view of a hillside. On the hillside, a fire was burning and a circle of "the good people" were dancing round it. They stood watching for a time, then were led back home with a great tale to tell their mother. In the morning they looked for the place where the fire had been, but there was no trace of it."
Many years later, her aunt came back from Canada and confirmed her father's tale, and later still she actually met the old man (who was the third child there) and he remembered it as if it had been yesterday.'

well, perhaps no. There is absolutely no evidence in human history that anyone has seen any fairy ever. There were few guys claiming that they have seen the fairies and have taken snaps but later on, they said that these were fake. There was one guy who claimed it too strongly and had shown snaps to the media but at his last time, on his death bed, he also said that he also created the pictures fake and there use not to be any fairy in his knowledge. So, live in present and don't think of supernatural beings.

Yes. Yes. Not much. Sorry, don't have any stories...but a lot of peoples around the world believe in them.
There are stories about them in my book of Indian mythology (as in Native Americans).

All I know is that a fairy is the name given to alleged benevolent metaphysical spirit or supernatural being. The fairy is based on the fae of medieval Western European (Old French) folklore and romance. Fairies are generally described as human in appearance and as having magical powers. Their origins are less clear in the folklore, being variously the dead, or some form of angel, or a species completely independent of humans or angels. Folklorists have suggested that their actual origin lies in a conquered race living in hiding, or in religious beliefs that lost currency with the advent of Christianity.
Much of the folklore about fairies revolves about protection from their malice, by such means as cold iron (fairies don't like iron and will not go near it) or charms of rowan and herbs, or avoiding offense by shunning locations known to be theirs. In particular, folklore describes how to prevent the fairies from stealing babies and substituting changelings, and abducting older people as well. Many folktales are told of fairies, and they appear as characters in stories from medieval tales of chivalry, to Victorian fairy tales, and up to the present day in modern literature.

I think they exist if you strongly believes that they do. Well, if you are to wish that a fairy is beside you and willing to grant you wishes, then you could wish for money and stuff. With that, I don't think they shall appear beside you. Maybe if you wish for your dying -someone- a eternal health and bliss..just! just maybe..they'll appear.
