I'm doing a paper on Democratic Sen. Joseph Biden...and I need to know what type of democrat he is....
ex. moderate liberal, left liberal, social liberal?

And I need a legitimate website (not a blog etc) because I have to site all my information...I would really appreciate that!

Thanks!!

He is a moderate liberal. His web site lists his issues under the "issues" link. He is in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens but he also supports expanding the border wall. He primarily blames Mexico for the immigration problem, rather than blaming the US. He favors wage equality, raising the minimum wage, and preventing job discrimination based on sexual orientation.

He is a bonehead, too, with comments like Obama "is a clean black man."

Edwards would be an example of a left liberal because he believes in wealth redistribution (even though he doesn't redistribute his own fortune).

Some people used to think he was a liberal, but that was before he showed the country who bought and paid for him: MBNA (M.oral B.ankruptcy of N.orth A.merica) There's nothing liberal about selling out to corporations, especially the banking racket.

We don’t know what do you mean here with ‚Politics’, so we cannot answer your question.

‚Politics’ is the process by which groups of people make decisions. Although the term is generally applied to behavior within parties, unions, parliaments and governments. ‚Politics’ is observed in further group interactions, including economical, ecological, and reliigious institutions.

‚Politics’ consists of social relations involving authority or power and refers to the regulation of a political unit, and to the methods and tactics used to formulate and apply policy.

Wrong spelling of "site (sic) all my information". You need to provide the source of your information, whether website, newspaper, television report or published speeches of the senator.

See if he has his own website and check out how he stands on various issues. This will let you decide for yourself how you want to categorize him. In addition to his speeches, check out commentary on him by both republican and democrat media sources.

Good luck.

I think these should be legitimate enough for you to make your own judgement of his politics. Try the Washington Post one first. The others are Biden's own.

Sen. Biden is just left of middle, and I know this because I listened to him speak, answer debate questions, and talked to him.

he is somewhat of a moderate. I rarely agree with the guy, but I respect him. He says what he means and means what he says.
