They too proportionate faces and I can not imagine how ancient people climbed up and used which tools to cut the hard rocks.

South Dakota's Mount Rushmore consists of four U.S. presidents (left to right): Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln.

The creation was done by carefully engineered specified blastings of rock by dynamite and finished by hand. Maintaining and preserving the massive sculpture is an expensive and tedious process.
