they are whiteflies, you need to go to a local garden store(home depot, lowes, etc.) and ask the clerk where you can find a treatment for it. usuallly they are spraying treatments and most treatments, you have to spray on once or twice a week till they are gone then once they are gone, just spray them once a month.

The identification is correct. To get rid of them, just wash the leaves in a mild solution of dishwashing liquid, like 1 tablespoon per gallon. If it's really bad, you may have to repeat it a couple of times, but it should do the trick. And you can just rinse the suds right into the pot, since it's good for the plants.

I think this may be your problem.

What are whiteflies? Whiteflies are tiny, soft bodied insects. They are not true flies, but belong to the insect Order Homoptera which means "same wing", both the front and back wings are membranous and appear very similar. Other homopterous insects includes: aphids, scale insects, leafhoppers, and mealybugs. Whiteflies derive their name from white, waxy substances secreted by special glands on their abdomen. The adults coat their bodies, particularly their wings, with this wax-hence the name "whiteflies." The immature stages (nymphs) are also secrete wax in various forms, and the appearance and shape of these waxy strands, plates, and filaments is often useful in identification

These are aphids and you can just wash them off with water. If you use chemicals, Sevin dust will take care of them quickly.
