Because she can win.

She has name recognition.
She has fund-raising ability.
She has a husband who beat them twice and who could be the best politician walking on the planet today.

Thats enough to scare the crap out of the neocons.

They're not afraid of her, they're upset that she will win.

The Republicans can't run on the facts in '08, any more than they could in '04 or '06. So they will do what they do, spew slime and false accusations and call Hillary a 'socialist' (showing that either they don't really know anything about Hillary or else they have no clue as to what a 'socialist' actually is).

I have a pet theory that Hillary is leading among Democratic candidates because she raised more money, because the Republicans are funneling money into her campaign. I think they see her as the easiest Democrat to beat because she is the easiest to slime. They have been caught doing this before in state races, secretly funding a candidate in the Democratic primaries that they think will be easier to beat in the general election. There's nothing these people won't do. They have no shame at all!

No. The conflict against socialism is a protracted term one.. If McKennedy wins we get somebody in there who's the least of the worst.. If we lose?? we are able to have 4 greater years of Democratic fixes.. tax will advance, tax-n-spend, socialist redistribution of wealth, hatred of u . s . of america to chew on... by utilising the time they are finished the GOP can finally submit a actual conservative candidate lower back and in all risk win one for freedom.. the two way we win!

Granted Mrs. Clinton is scary..but other than the thought of having our free speech crushed and being introduced to socialism as a slow prelude to communism..it might be a new experience to have a woman in the Clinton administration sit behind the desk in the Oval Office - instead of under it . On second thought ..maybe we are afraid of Mrs. Clinton ..That is one dangerous power happy tyrant there .

Once again I am surprised that people don't even know what socialism is. I can assure you that our country didn't achieve greatness due to the work the government did for the country. It was the people (civilians) who made this country great. I'm not afraid of Hillary (Hilary?)Your Spelling! I'm afraid of what she represents. And that is socialism. She is all about what the government can provide for the people. People fail to realise that in order for the government to provide anything they have to collect it from someone. That would be you and me. What scares me is not Hillary but rather the number of people who think that she would be good for our country. For the cowards who think wars are a bad decision... Sometimes they are necessary. Noone likes them but sometimes to protect what you have worked for and the life that you have created for yourself you have to fight. We didn't ask the terrorists to hate us and attack us multiple times. Eventually something has to be done other than just sit there and take it. BTW Hillary isn't in any big hurry to pull the troops out of Iraq. Do some research and you will find out what year she wants to have the troops out of Iraq. 2010 I think. Believe me you need to be afraid of Hillary. If you don't understand why. Please study history. Learn what socialism is. We don't need the government. They need us. Get it! They want us to need them! That's what socialism is all about. Government control of everything. If I had my way there would be an amendment to the constitution forbidding the government from taking control of any industry or sector of the economy.

They are afraid she will open the Presidency to women. That would be the end to the old boys club,,and actually open the job up, to the more level headed, and less corrupt sex..

I have no idea.. I suspect, she'll become president.. Things will gradually get better, erase the debt.. And yet they'll give dumbya all the credit for that and discredit her for something stupid.. Then they'll vote in another dummy to raise our debt and go to another needless war.. It seems a cycle.. I just don't get it...
