I'm afraid it's true what most have said about getting ripped off but, if you call them they will usually say that they have to see it, blah blah blah, so on and so forth...
That's just to get you to bring it in so they can offer you a crappy deal, figuring you'll go ahead and give in out of dispair.
You'd be surprised how many people take the bait.

try craigslist.org and kijiji.com first, you can often check what people in your area are selling for and then post it yourself and get way better cash for it. That company often gives you jack all for stuff. I bought ff7 long time ago, 40 $, they would give me 7$ for it the next week !WTF!

You will get more money off of selling to a friend or selling it on eBay.
