well... my psychology background kicked in... and I started to wonder if you were depressed.. or maybe delusional... or perhaps just detached..... but then I thought some more and realized you said "What if I told you" and "What if I said"... so I've decided not to think about it too much :)

Baron is trying to provoke people here. But deep down, is he not more or less the norm? People are socialized to express horror and feign solemness at that event even years later, but how many people got over it in short order? I´d say most of us.
9-11 was a theatrical terrorist attack that was dramatic but it has to be put into perspective. Most of us didn´t know anybody who died that day. The US DID NOT collapse and more people die due to other causes. Some fifty thousand plus get killed in vehicular accidents each year alone. 20,000 or more die due to the flu yet those of us that are still alive keep on living. There is jobs to do. Stuff to buy. Girls to chase, etc. Heck, a little after 9-11, president Bush told to his countrymen to ``go shop´´ and not let the terrorist win. The world doesn´t stop.

I feel sorry for you...so being under attack doesn't mean anything to you. You just watch the news and say "Oh a plane crashed into one of the world trade center, oh look another one wow this is interesting. Oh OK Osoma Bin Ladin planned this attack cool." If you do you need help...It is good that you care about other citizens, but why not the ones who died that tragic day? Or the ones who lost their loved ones? are they any different than the ones who die on the streets, AIDS, and murdered? if so please explain why they are different.

9-11 cannot be the reason Americans give up their rights and way of life; and an international criminal cannot be the excuse for doing so. So, it is a fallacy to construe the belief that Liberals think the so called "terrorists" are a cause for ignoring internation issues--it is however, a far leap to use the concept of "international criminals" to alter the American fundamental values, rights, laws and practices even temporarily while Americans die for these values, supposedly--and others are expected to foot the bill.
So as far as "terrorism", consider the domestic gangs; then expect that same type of problem internationally--the fact is, they are not the guage of our society, our rights, our laws and our Constitution--it does however, belong to law abiding citizens who are sick and tired of hearing someone with a government job trying to "sell" us into believing we need to follow their presenation, in order to be safe.

I'd say you do not have your facts right. 2-3000 people do not die on the streets daily in New York.
What do YOU do daily to help the people of New York, or anywhere else, who you claim need help.
I agree with the answerer above. You are pathetic.

I'd say you're a sick SOB.
Tell me, would you care if I blew up your house with your entire family and all of your friends inside, killing everyone of them?
Honestly, would you care?
What if, at the moment you found out, I was walking by laughing, pointing and saying "Man, if that wasn't so funny, I'd really not give a damn!! Sucks to be you loser!!!"
I'll bet you'd care if it affected you. But it didn't and, so, you don't.
I'd say your selfish and heartless.
You asked.

I think you need to look harder, because of 9/11 the Bush administration has eroded our rights, gotten us into an occupation that is costing $330 million dollars a day, and cost thousands of Innocent people their lives, and livelyhoods. You are right that people suffer greatly all over the world evry day in many many ways, but that event has ramifications that everyone should sit up and notice,

I'd say that it's sad to see someone so desensitized that they have completely lost respect for human life.
