If Mohammed (P.B.U.H) came to your house to spend a day or two, if He came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do? Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room to such an honored guest, and all the food you'd serve to Him would be the very best.
And you would keep assuring Him you're glad to have him there, That serving Him in your home is joy beyond compare. But when you saw Him coming, would you meet Him at the door, with arms outstretched to welcome in your heavenly visitor?
Or would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in, or hide some magazines and put the Quran where they'd been?
Would you turn off the radio and hope He hadn't heard, and wished you hadn't uttered that last loud nasty word.
Would you hide your worldly music and put some quran books out? Could you let Mohammed (P.B.U.H) come right in, or would you rush about? Oh, I wonder if the prophet came to spend a day with you, would you just go on doing all the things you always do?
Would you go right on saying the things you always say? Would life for you continue as it does now day to day? Would our family conversation keep up it's usual pace, or would you find it hard each meal to say a table grace?
Would you sing the songs you always sing and read the books you read, and let Him know on which the things your mind and spirit feeds? Would you take Mohammed (P.B.U.H) with you everywhere you planned to go, or would you maybe change your plans, for just a day or so?
Would you be glad to have Him meet with all your closest friends, or would you hope they'd stay away until His visit ends? Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on, or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know the things that you would do, if Mohammed (P.B.U.H) came in person to spend the day with you!

Great food for thought ,thank you.
We are so observant of all we should do to live our lives according to the five pillars of Islam during Ramadan.
We all took time each day to read the Message of the Noble Quran, we all did acts of charity and paid zakat.
But how much time have we spent with those in need since and is it only at Ramadan we feel we should give zakat?
How many of us have already begun to get a little lax in what we do,how we act.
I know I have and I say that with shame for I know that Allah swt has blessed me and led me to Islam to show me the truth and beauty that exist for those who believe in The One and in the Message and Words of the Prophet pbuh in so many ways.
We should all make effort to take time to just sit by ourselves to quietly reflect and meditate on what we have done and the sins we have committed without thought, or intent during the day.
I know that I am guilty of this and I think if we are honest with ourselves, remembering that Allah swt can see into our very souls, most of us will find that we have already begun to become a little lax in some way or another, whether by word, thought or deed.
That is why I thank you for reminding me in this special way of that our hearts like our homes are open to Allah swt at all times. For we cannot hide from Him or lie to Him for He knows our past, our present and our future.

i would be the happiest person on earth.
all i have to do is to wear decent clothes at home and turn on the air condition to avoid feeling bothered by the heat.
all my family and my friends will celebrate this occasion.
i will have to change the tv channel to AL MAGD with the Quran recitation all day.
i would order kabab and kofta and make salad so as not to leave him for a minute.
i must give him my attention all the time .
i would give him the best bedroom to slkeep in and rest.
what a question ! he is with me now.
ma sha allah. i will be ready to receive him the rest of my life.

I think it is a beautiful poem, meant at showing us how we need to reprioritize our lives. I would try to be a better Muslimah and I would pray on time, all the time. I would fast more often and help my parents more.

It's beautiful. I saw one almost like this before, but the name used was Jesus. I live my life as if the Prophet has made a reservation with me each day. Thanks so much for printing this. I'll pass it on.

I don't think he would be too welcome around families with young girls and I doubt if he would care for the pork chops we were planning for dinner . Nice try but no sale . One question though would you report him as a sex predator.
