It's a mental illness called confirmation bias where the person only gets info from sources that will uphold their preconceived world view, the cannot allow any information in other than that which supports their bias, when they do encounter facts that do not align with this bias they attack the source has inaccurate, unpatriotic, and trying to help the terrorists, that last one I find particularly amusing since nothing has helped the terrorists recruit more than Mr Bush' war

Anyone who says Rush Limbaugh does not provide talking points for the right wing is in denial. I witnessed it myself.

Last week I was listening to Rush on the radio (I was bored) and one of his listeners called to say that Harry Reid had commented about the letter Rush had put on Ebay. Reid said that it was good that Rush was going to donate the money he received for the letter to charity. Rush immediately claimed that Reid was taking credit for the charitable contribution he was going to make with the money he got for the letter. The next guy on the radio started his program with a story on how Harry Reid was taking credit for the money raised by the sale on Ebay of the letter that Rush had on auction.
