Technically they can drag you back home, but most police won't bother.

I honestly have a number of consumers who left homestead (runaway) in the previous age 18, and they were arrested for the cost of runaway and again homestead. In maximum states, because the offense exceeded off in the previous the age of 18, even if disposition (sentencing) or you're chanced on takes position after 18, you nevertheless get placed on probation lower than the juvenile courtroom equipment. you could stay lower than the jurisdiction of the juvenile equipment until eventually you're 21. The courtroom can order you to stay which includes your father and mom if you're lower than the juvenile equipment, even if you've on condition that became 18. in simple terms wait a month and a 0.5. it really is going to likely be a lot less annoying on all in touch. and a lot less severe priced, because you receives ordered to pay courtroom expenses and probation expenses.

It depends on which state you are from, on what is considered legal age to leave home. Once you turn 18 you are considered an adult, and you are on your own. You are responsible for yourself. I don't know why you want to leave home, but I want you to know, that it is not easy own your own, and I hope you have a job to pay the bills, cause nothing is free.

If you're going to be 18 in a month and a half, then your spelling and grammar tell me otherwise.

If someone left their house at 18, they can do as they please because they're then an adult by U.S. law. However, at 17, you cannot unless emancipated.
