Many times I have seen this. Beauty is only skin deep. True beauty resides within.
Some people who are considered to be physically attractive are truly unattractive inside. Take a look at stars in the news for plenty of examples.

"yes" I think so ... and a lot depends on your own way of perceiving. Somehow, this relates to the notion that there might be some "objective reality" out there, which,, in this case could be either
a person's appearance (cognitive filters here)
a person's personality (same caveat)
both of these things are related to *us* the viewer / knower.
(and a big-ol' illusion is lurking n the wings, here)
"the eyes of love" ... the interaction(s) that gives rise to this condition are experienced by those whom fortune has blessed, even if only for a while
George Orwell said, "At fifty, everyone has the face he deserves."
maybe this means that, over time, people's appearance conforms to their inner being [whatever *that* is]

Oh yeah. I think inner beauty wins hands down. It radiates outward and can really make a person shine. Their magnetic personality can really draw people towards them and they are the ones people just like to be around. Looks don't work like that.
