I just need to know what clothes an average boy in Morocco would wear. I'm doing a project and require the appropriate Moroccan clothes. I also need to know a few places where I could get them.

Wear some soccer trainers. They love those things.

edit: Djellabas are more traditional but a kid running around outside on an average day won't be wearing one.

Average boys in Morocco dress like average boys anywhere else in the world. If they are dressed for school, they will be in their school's uniform, usually dark pants and a white shirt. If they are out and about after school they will be in trousers or jeans, with any sort of shirt on. If they are playing with their friends you an usually find them wearing a soccer jersey and maybe shorts. Djellabas are usually reserved for colder weather or functions where they must dress more appropriately.

It would depend on what the occasion is I would think. For an Akikha, or a Walima, I would wear a djalaba and would see kids wear that or a jacket and slacks.

Have seen combinations of this as well.

They wear both Western-style clothes (e.g. shirt and jeans/trousers) and traditional clothes, such as Djellaba (a kind of caftan).

Having said that, kids mostly seem to wear Western clothes. It is adults who tend to wear djellaba more.
