to such as vision, insight, hearing a feeling into the various planes has to do with a persons life experiences say Worldly travel or were they born this way through meditation practices etc...????

I was born with premonition. I can see things sometimes before they happen. I was raised to believe this was wrong and from the devil, so I never shared my gift as a child. I see things about to happen through dreams and tho'ts and get impressions about bad things about to happen merely as bad feelings inside myself as a response to an idea to do something. I've had bad feelings about things my husband wanted to purchase, like cars, and I've been right. I've had bad feelings about places to go and avoided them and missed something bad. I missed putting my car into a sinkhole one day by arriving an hour early. If I had come 1 hour later, I would have fallen into the sink hole. It was large enough to take down an SUV!
Please understand I don't cultivate this gift. I don't do psychic readings. I can't see things for other people usually, though I get bad feelings about people and I'm usually right. I have tried to shut down this gift, b/c I tho't it was wrong and being raised in church, I didn't think I was supposed to have it. As an adult now, I feel, since it's still with me, that I must be deemed to have it and I listen to it whenever I hear it or feel it. I don't look for something bad to happen, b/c I feel a reason to avoid a place, but I avoid the place anyway. People think I'm crazy, but I'm not.

At the risk of being sectioned.....hee hee I think it has to do with several things, the first being what energies are abound when you were born, life experience as you grew, how open to or receptive you are to these energies and how open your mind is. I think, personally it depends how many times your spirit has returned to this earth also. I do agree meditation can open doorways providing that this is what you want and you are aware this can happen. I love the phrase you have used` hearing a feeling into the various planes....." I can really identify with this one

It's something that comes within a person. In laymen's terms you just have to feel it. Sure life has a lot to do with it. I have always felt this way and dont know how to explain how I know some things. To put it in a nutshell I sense things. I feel within another person on what they are going through.... Even though I know what is going on with me I feel a need out there wishing I could do more. A sense of urgency, and on the other hand I feel hopelessness. Call me nuts if you want to but thats me. I just get carried away with things of this nature.

I'm beginning to think it is wholly biological in nature, but can be developed further with contemplation and meditation techniques.
Having always felt a tenuous connection to physicality, (when I was a child the family doctor warned my parents to keep me on the sidewalk after summer camp landed me in the hospital) I have never been remotely interested in dabbling with other levels of consciousness (out of body, clairvoyance etc. etc.). I have found them purposeless for this incarnation and leave them to others to explore and develop.

That higher level of knowledge is gained in stillness... in western terms, "the Great I AM.' Pure Consciousness does have it's own eternal structure... and revelation or cognition is there to be gained by anyone.
This explains it in simple terms.

I believe we all walk our different lives.My personal path is following God`s word.I also believe that God can give as gifts if we warrant them. To help us serve the lord in his design and plan. This can come from all walks of life.

I feel that you can feel or reach other levels, if you tune into, accept that it can happen, listen and feel for it!!
