I'm doing an informative speech on the History of The Price is Right. Could anyone give me some good websites that talk about it. I've looked through the first few pages of google, but none of them are very good.

Well I can tell you a little about the original Price Is Right, it was hosted by Bill Cullen, who also hosted Blockbuster, currently seen Saturday and Sunday mornings, it had four contestants, each bidding on a prize, they would take turns in bidding, at some point a buzzer would sound announcing the final round of bidding, the person could freeze at any point in the process even befor the buzzer sounded, the person with the hightest bid, with out going over would get that prize. There was one time during the show that the contestants could bid either higher or lower.

the most entertaining way to find out about the price is right, is to interview some of the diehard fans. OMG~ it's a family tradition...........

Not sure if you've seen this one but appears to be pretty informative.
