This would refer to a drug induced look to the girls eyes from her observers standpoint, I know the song you are talking about....LOL...it is about drugs. :) By the way, it could refer to someone with really really really thick glasses also, but in the case of this song, nope, no way. :)

Since "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" was inspired by a drawing that one of the Beatles' children drew, I think a girl with kaleidoscope eyes would be someone with eyes as beautiful as the images a child would see in a kaleidoscope, multi-colored, ever-changing shapes, patterns and designs, illuminated with a special inner light.

When the Beatles wrote that song they were doing lots of drugs at the time. So I don't think that anybody knows exactly what a girl with kaleidoscope eyes is.

I'd have to say that the song was saying two thing one or the other or both
1 Her pupils were dilated (impling that she was high)
2 That John Lennon was high (rumored to be on LSD because of song title) i say this because a lot of lyrics are very trippy so he might be saying she has huge wacked out eyes

Have you ever noticed a person who's eyes tend to change colors, each time you see them they look different?? could be how they're feeling, or the color of they're clothing, many things.

eyes that have several colors, specs of different colors. maybe like green eyes with specs of gold and brown. I've only seen this with two people and they were men.
