im 13 and im really good at science, humanities, ect. im in the extension classes and all that. I really want to become a doctor and go somewhere like africa where they really need them but people have told me not to be silly. am I being unrealistic? what can I do in school to achieve this?

That's a very admirable idea. You may have a vocation and the others don't know it. Take it one step at a time. One day at a time toward getting your education to be a Dr. You may change your mind about Africa and you may not. Either way you would be a Dr. and that seems to be your vocation for sure.
