what phrases are the best for a pirate
like "Ahoy Matey" means hi to people or the crew can u tell me some good pirate phrases and what they mean

shiver me timbers: something you say when you're shocked or annoyed
davy jones's locker: bottom of the sea
avast mateys: listen guys

belay: be quiet, shut up
why is the rum gone?: wheres the booze?
parlay: i wanna talk to the captain without you killing me

Basically, it's not WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it. Lotsa "arrrrr"'s and "scurvy" whatevers. Once you get the voice and spirit down you can pratically say anything you want and it works. Most important-------> Have FUN!
