I am going to Denver to game 3 but I don't have tickets yet and are planning on buying some the day of at or near the stadium. Any advice on where to find people selling them?

If you don't have a bundle to pay for tickets, wait until the last possible moment before buying from a scalper. He doesn't want to eat the ticket(s) and will listen to your price.

You better have a nice sum of cash, as it will be a seller's market. You will see the fans or the pros selling tickets, that won't be a problem....the price may be sky high in the mile high.
