Blood thirsty evil George Bush i widely known as being not bright. I hope and pray that Bush, Cheney and the rest of Neocons are not that much stupid to mess with Russia, as Russia is the military strongest country in the world. So that Bush & Co.better stay away from Iran.

I believe I read in Persian Journal something to that affect, yes, Condor. They also reported the Nuclear scientist jumping ship. The EUNews had Putin's visit following to Germany. He took a lashing there. Norway is PO heck even the Fin's are considering not removing the border land mines they are meant to remove. Putin is in a press if the Supreme Leader is calling the shots. What the details of his plan are? The article did not say. Nor does anyone know what he will do next.
The idea that AMDJ behalves or else means way more than any sanction.
Good news for the US. For NOW.
Great stuff. Amazing.. even chinadaily had stuff on this today.
Here's the link. Beware you can not get back to Y!A after :)

Putin has essentially stated this in his strategic alliance with Iran. I don't know if he specifically stated what you said but the implication of his visit to Tehran and the Russian-Iranian deepening friendship suggests that Russia could easily side with Iran if the US attacked Iran.

Putin's rhetoric and actions are clearly drawing a line in the sand and he is visibly doing it as a warning against the American rhetoric towards Iran.

Yes he did, it was on BBC News, I wouldn't say he said it that way, but he made it very clear that Russia will back Iran...

Bush has already posed sanctions on Iran, after our wonderful Senators voted to designate the IRG, a terrorists organization... Hillary Clinton voted in favor of this measure and in April of this year Barack Obama, tried to pass this very legislation as a co-sponsor, and we all already know where all of the republicans stand on this issue, with the exception of Ron Paul..

This Bush administration and the Democratic Congress, have done nothing to handle this matter with diplomacy... They have already stated every option is on the table when dealing with Iran, even strikes.. If we were to take military action against Iran, not only are they prepared to retaliate.. but Putin has made it clear Russia will back Iran

Not only does this measure put the United States in a dangerous position, but it also brings up the possibility of the draft.. Going to war with Iran, is becoming very likely.. esp. because this entire situation seems to mirror the Iraq one...

WAKE UP AMERICA!

Based on news article to which you are referring it appears to be true. Hopefully Bush and Republican cronies will use their brains this time and will not mess with Iran as Russia might defend Iran in the event of war.

I guess Bush's mind reading capabilites were wrong when he looked deep into Putin's eyes and saw his soul.

Didn't happen. Even the article you linked to doesn't quote him as saying that. They imply it with the irresponsible headline which undermines the integrity of everything that follows it, if it had any to begin with

Basically. That's why he doesn't want our anti-missle defenses in europe so Iran can lob a few our way without them getting involved directly.

We allowed Russia and China to get their arms out of Iraq, because they hadn't been paid for yet.
