I've been a bit anxious myself over this. You feel something coming, but you're not sure what it is. What disturbs me most is how far are they going to go this time to warrant taking the last of our freedoms. They took a crap load last time.

It is really a moot point, with what we have had to work with and looks like still have to work with do you really think we would put up with any of them a third time around..........
From the bottom of my heart I truly believe FDR was a fluke and all our Prez's no matter how good or bad had done all they could to make us or break us in the 4 to 8 years allotted to them by our system.......
Constitutional amendment ratified 2/27/51 any one who has served two years of a term, can only be elected for 1 term so we either get them for 4, 6 or 8 yrs as near as I can fiqure???

If something major breaks out the Bush admin will be in till we get back to normal. Who fool would want that job for more than 8 years? Everyone I've seen that goes in ages 20 yrs before they get out...

22nd Amendment:Section 1
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of the President,or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once.

So you see you are simply wrong,if you're going to quote the Constitution you might want to read it.

I wonder if someone else can step in and finish this war. It is unusual for a president to be elected out of office while we are in war.. he was voted in for his second term regardless of what people want to say. If he uses the martial law to stay in office I would be surprised to say the least. That martial law covers a whole lot of areas if you read up on it. Not just war......

Well, the maximum that someone can serve as President is two and a half terms (ten years).

Thank God you're an ex righty cause they wouldn't want you and your lunatic fantasies within their ranks. In fact I'm not sure the left want you in their ranks either.

I agree with that statement that presidents are only allowed to serve two terms. That is correct.

Not only the President, but ALL elected officals on every level of Government. Politics was never meant to be a career.
Bush was joke right from jump, but the American people wanted him, now they have to live with their misguided judgement.
