ok so i have this 1983 enduro and it runs great after it gets warmed up and keep it at the high rpm's but as soon as you let go of the throttle for 5 seconds it will stall right away and it is hard as hell to get started. I allready cleaned the carbs twice and i was wondering if anyone has any simple suggestions for me to get this thing running like new. All and all this is a great bike.

What model is it? A yamaha Enduro? Honda?

Anyway, it sounds like you're low on compression. Have a compression test done first before you try anything else.

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Most likely problem would be a clogged pilot jet in the carb.
The pilot jet is long and thin.
Remove it from the carb and hold it up to the light.
You should be able to see through it.

from my past exsperience...make sure when you clean carb out that you remove all needle valves...be sure and blow through all holes....then when you re-assemble carb...turn air screw out 2 complete turnsthat should get it to start and run till you adjust carb to your standards!!!
