Looking for the most famous (well known) and more importantly "Honest" music promoter in Tokyo, to book a Great Canadian Band for a 2 to 3 week tour of Tokyo and surrounding area. Anyone out there who can provide me with some contact information regarding this ( website, or email address ). Also, is there a Better Business Bureau in Japan?

If you don't have anyone sponcering you in Canada, Japanese Agencys won't even look at you. If you can contact an Agency in Canada, they will speak with agencies in Japan.

I've often had suspicions that some professional people from the industry lurk in here. Haven't seen it for a while but I've been around where I see a person much like you describe asks the same question various times with a YouTube link in several questions, promoting a certain band of the moment. Hard to say with any certainty who they are or whom they're working for. But I hope they're listening because this is some of the best FREE market research they can ever hope to get. If we're being used as sheep, I'm good with that so long as the labels stop signing bands that sound like Nickelback and radio learns that you don't have to play the same songs every five minutes in order to make money.
