I had a couple at a family Labor Day party. My family makes these treats from Labor Day to Memorial Day for every holiday that occurs between these two holidays.
These treats are easy to make, just buy a box of Rice Krispies, it should have the recipe on the box.

To be honest, the last timeI had one was senior year high school, 22 years ago. A nun at my school use to make them and sell them at lunch time. She was saving money for a trip to France. I went to college for 2 years and left the country. Nver ate one since. I've been back but haven't seen them in stores. Next time I'll double check. It'll bring back memories.

It has been at least 3 years ago. I would purchase items at the grocery market as a snack that I could carry with me when I went out and about.
