Never. Morals should never be traded for saftey and liberty either. Trade liberty for security you get neither. ill take what the previous posters example. If waterboarding a guy in guantanamo might save some people ? It doesent matter its wrong to torture ever there is never a call for it.

That's the question isn't it. Personally I find Guantanamo immoral; however, if waterboarding some terrorist saved say my son's life and thousands of other people's lives, what is the moral thing to do? Hard to say.
