Why do you always leave one fingernail longer than the rest?

Come on. Everyone does it.
I use mine for routine maintenance

I do it with my pinky nail. It's the only one that grows that doesn't break off when I work. I leave it long because it is easier to clean certain places that one would not otherwise be able to reach. My secondary reason for leaving it long AND painting it (painting only it) is because it bugs my 13 year old daughter. LOL

I leave my pinky nails the longest because it hardly breaks compare to my other fingernails.

do you use ur ultra long nail to reach up into the deep crevices of ur ear/nose to clean the stuff out...??/

Some people say they use their pinky to pick their nose. I've been told that that's a common euphemism for coke-users.

cuz i have have an emotional attachment to my nails. and i spend time treating them with care and grooming them so they can get long....if one breaks i refuse to cut the rest of em' cuz i worked hard fro them...i know...im weird lol :) (and i also use them for self sefense purposes!)

mine are always different lengths, i dont cut them so they grow out and then eventually break, so most are at different lengths at most times

hmmm....can't say that I've ever done that, all of my nails are the same length.
