Get a group of radically religious people behind you that want a Crusade through the Middle East, find an old coot to be your Veep, hire morons for your Yes Men, cook up torture documents and documents that give you imperialistic powers, then spend all of the country's money, while working families struggle and try to hang onto their homes.

Better refrain from it! If you are intelligent and a man of wisdom you will leave that impossible task for others to waste time over it. You are living in a world of chaos and why you want to add more to it that can affect your life.

Mahtama Gandhi could achieve it because India was under foreign yoke and more important was Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose convinced that force also will be used to liberate India. I give equal credit for Mahatma Gandhi and Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose for bringing in freedom to India.

Gandhi did a pretty good job against the British, peacefully. He had the people behind him. No Government can rule a people that does not want to be ruled.

You will need an army.
They have outlawed guns and private armies etc.
Build a stock pile of guns and ammo, then build a secret army.
Will need some battle plans though.
