Bush and the PNAC fascists in his administration planned this war since 1998. Peace was never an option once they seized power.

Also, Bush needed a diversion to distract people's attention from the fact that he let his old family friend Osama bin laden get away.

Worse than just "Bush's war" - according to Ted Kennedy, it's "Bush's Viet Nam."
It will remain "Bush's war" as long as the democrats believe the American voters are buying into Harry Reid's conclusion that we have lost the war - should this war in Iraq prove to be a successful strategy, you can bet the farm the democrats will drop the phrase "Bush's war" instantly and start spinning some other alleged republican fiasco.
They may even pull the fact that they voted for this invasion out of the closet, dust it off and brag about their visionary fore sight in authorizing this war.

I had misgivings as soon as we let troops other than our own pursue Bin Laden in Tora Bora, remember that, he got away and we went to war without a declaration of war from congress against a country where Al Queda wasnt, the only thing the war in Iraq has done is motivate even more people to hate us. Our troops were in Tora Bora we should have led the search for the man who was responsible for 9/11 we didnt the War On Terror is Now the War in Iraq.
Conclusion, vote for Ron Paul

Probably because he and his cronies had to threaten Americans with the scare of a nuclear mushroom cloud to sway our opinion into supporting his decision to "liberate" Iraq. He broke it, he bought it. His secretary of state warned him, he didn't listen. He has plenty of support, seventy percent of Americans want us out of Iraq. I would call that a majority unity. Why does he not listen? Because it's his war, that's why.

I can't speak for anyone else. I don't consider the U.S. occupation of Iraq (I assume that's the "war" you're talking about) to be my war because I don't consider G.W. Bush to be my (or the U.S.'s) President and without his persistent war mongering the invasion never would have occurred. I don't consider G.W. to be the U.S. President because he never legitimately won a U.S. Presidential election.
