I have a short story that I have no idead how to name it. The short premise is:

One man reenters inside the lives of his old love and her partner to take action on his revenge- in his side his fiancé accompanies him. A ritzy clan of four estranged acquaintances intermingles in each other’s secret vault of lies and deceit. The only way to protect themselves of uncovering the truth is through blackmail of one another. It's set in the roaring twenties and it was inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby." I have an entire in depth story outline and its amazing. I just don't have a title. The story's centreral theme is betrayal and taking vengence on those who hurt you even if it hurts those close to you. The tagline is "Decadence is a disgrace in the eyes of the eclipse." Please help me, guys.

Call it WIP for Work in Progress for now. Although something from your tagline would probably end up becoming the title, you don't need to know a title to write a book. I also think eventually you may find your tag-line doesn't work. The eyes of the eclipse is kind of cliche and vague. The title comes to you when it is ready. I would always choose my own - never depend on the ideas of others. But one word - don't fall in love with titles. When and if you sell the work, a standard publisher's contract gives the publisher the right to change it without your consent. Publishers know what looks good on covers. They know what kind of titles sell. Start writing and wait. It will come to you when it is ready. Only once have I started a book knowing the title.

Careful or you may wind up in my next novel.
