Yes I did many time...Very successful but so regret it now....I was running from a bad family home ..but running was not the answer....
I ended up pregnant at a young age..and never really had a good relationship with my parents then or now...
running is not the answer there is so much help for kids in this day and age ..I wish I had the options kids have now. There is help just have to look for it.

I wrote my parents a note telling them that I had to leave since they would not stop fighting.
I put it on the table in front of them while they were yelling at each other.
Then I went up to my room and cried for about an hour.
When I went back to the table, they were still fighting and didn't know their little 6 year old was going to run away.
So I threw the note away.
They got divorced a few years later.
I moved out of my mom's when I was 16.
So, not very successful. Ten years......

lol! yeah...once I ran away to the back seat of our station wagon for like 4 hours, then gave up when no one came looking for me. Then another time I packed up some clothes and my older sister said she would make me a sandwich for my trip...I went to my secret spot around the corner behind a neighbors garage and hid there until my other sister ratted me out and showed my mom where I was. My mom made a big deal about how much she missed me and how it would break her heart if I left and she took me back home and every one acted like it was a big homecoming thing. I knew they were pretending but it made me feel good. I never did it again I had gotten the attention I wanted. I was the youngest of four...so I guess I was feeling lost in the shuffle at the time. plus I had seen it on t.v. somewhere.

Yup, I did. My mom worked days and nights and I was always left alone at my uncle's house. Man, I hated his guts. So one night while he was in the shower, I snuck out and took off down the street.
I wasn't very successful, though.
One of his kids must've saw me and told him. He dressed like lightning and sped after me in his truck. It was dark enough so I hid in a ditch until he passed by. Mwahaha. Then I just walked to my mom's work and told her what was up. She was cool with it.

Once I ran to my neighbors house with the intention of NEVER going home again, all I took with me was a little statue of a dog that a relative gave me. I think I was home before dinner though---hey, a girl's got to eat.

I wrote a note and ran away ... two doors down to my best friend's house. ( I was about eight).
My parents showed me though. My friend's mom called them and told them I was there (but didn't tell me), so my parents basically just ignored the fact that I was there and eventually I went home pretty dejected.

I ran away under the table once and they didn't find me for a long time when I was about 5. I got my booty "tore" up for it, but I was living it up before then because I took with me a jar of peanut butter and some kool aide. Ha ha, I guess I was prepared.
:)
