how do u type a heart symbol. look at details?

i have windows xp and i tried the alt 3. didnt work. how do u do it.

Click on the Start button
Click on run
In the box that appears type in: charmap

A window will open which displays all the symbold (including the heart) that you can not type from your keyboard.
Place the mouse over the heart symbol and it will dislay the key to type to get it.

Or you can "select" the heart, do a "copy" and then "paste" it where you need it.
