I won't waste my time arguing. People that do simply want to convince they are right and everyone else. If I see some intelligence and reason in a person, I love discussing opposing views though. I don't like passing opportunities to learn something new. Not too often I am swayed from my beliefs. And other than mathmatics, few things in life are absolutes. Two people with opposing views can both be right. Much simply has to do with a person's experience. A funny thing I have found is some rough beginnings have ended in some really great friendships. If I detect a person reasonable that starts to argue, I don't like just walking away. I far prefer to see if they will reason some and i feel good if I can defuse a situation. To me, winning an argument is when the parties part with respect and lack of hate. And I always cring thinking how bad the world would be if everyone thought just like me.

No not at all, nothing is solved by arguing. I would rather set down and come to some sort of a compromise. Even if it means giving in. Fighting never solves anything and sometimes people say things they don't mean and no matter what you cannot take those words back and what if you never get a chance to see that person again. How would you feel? I couldn't live with that... Just me

Absolutely not, no. I hate arguments and will give up even if I know i'm right to avoid arguing.

I don't think I would ever admit to "liking to argue"....but I have probably said plenty of things in my life which I knew would start arguments.
