Why or why not? :p

You're suppose to know what you know having read the books.

@rosseau, I'm currently reading the Golden Compass, I intend to read catch 22, because someone gave it to me, I do read other books, I'm just the obbessed with Harry Potter at the moment, I'm not the only one. I don't know why but I get a lot of enjoyment out of asking random hp related questions on here probably, because of the great andspeedy replies. :p You seriously need to stop telling complete strangers, what they need to do.

I think you're asking tongue-in-cheek, but it's an interesting question. Maybe you should put it in the philosophy section.

No. Even if you knew the future and there was no question of what would happen, in 1936 you'd be punishing by death a 16-year-old for being a bully. Also, in Harry's world, murder (apparently even in self-defense) tears your soul in two. It wouldn't even be revenge or just desserts.

Most importantly, no matter what you know, there's always the possibility of a glimmer of hope; there may even be unforeseen positive consequences of Voldemort's actions that outweigh the negative. Maybe among those he killed was one who would've been 10 times worse than Voldemort.

Time paradoxes are tricky things. Depending on who's writing, you either can't change history, get caught in a loop, alternating between paths where you do it and don't do it (because you don't know to do it, Voldemort never having become bad), leave the ground open to someone worse arising, or you don't change the course of history you originated from but end up in an alternate reality your actions created.

All in all, I'd let history take its course, for better or for worse.

I'd find it difficult to push anyone off a cliff, but if it was a fictional character in a book, I might throw Riddle's pages from the book over a cliff, if there was someone down there to put it in the proper trash can for me. :-}

that is no longer extraordinary yet slightly extraordinary. Lord Voldemort became exceptionally lots evikl seeing as how hi Salazar Syltherin's blood became working by using his veins and perhaps he became bitter seeing as how he grew up into the orphanage yet abuse is slightly extraordinary good question in spite of the undeniable fact that relatively elevating some What if is what makes HP exciting.

No, because at that time he was just Tom Riddle and I would not have known what he would become Lord Voldemort in the future!

if that was when voldemort couldn't fly yet and wasn't evil, uhh, ya! i mean, if u killed him, he wouldn't have "taken over" europe and given harry such a hard life, like missing parents, large responsibilities, and other stuff like that.
wat, U wouldn't push him off the cliff?? o wait ur name is "lord voldemort" of course u wouldn't. d d d!!

No, I would report him to the authorities so they kill him not me. I don't push people off of cliffs no matter how evil.
