I it to a certain extent, but there were times that things hurt me more by not knowing the truth. Some things should be left unsaid, but most of the time if it is going to hurt you then you should be told because obviously it has to do with something that really matters in your life.

That is like asking if a tree falls in a forest and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Either way, if it involves you, it will still affect you for better or worse. When that tree falls and crushes a plant, whether it makes a sound or not, that plant is still going to be crushed. Because you don't know about a fatal disease that you could have, doesn't mean you won't die from it.

Not at all.

Think about it. Say you don't know anything about safe sex - Just imagine what harmful diseases you might get.

Or if you don't know how to manage your money, you may get in debt, have to declare bankruptcy and never be able to buy a home or feed yourself.

You don't know about looking both ways before you cross the street, you might get smoked by a bus. I'd say that'd hurt.

You don't know your boss likes to eavesdrop, you talk about him, you're fired!!
