Most of us here have seen the taped interview. Did anyone see Kate crying uncontrolably? Apparently this media outlet thinks so

No wonder there is so much confusion in this investigation. The media can say whatever they want, INCLUDING LIES TO SELL PAPERS, but the accused are made to stand silent.
What a bunch of mixed up politics they have in Portugal.

Another newspaper jumps on the hate Kate wagon:

I agree 100%.They'll do what it takes to sell the papers. Why do people want to see Kate and Gerry break down anyway?
I for one would find it very distressing to see 2 parents who have lost the dearest thing in the world breakdown.
They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.If they don't show their feelings, they are accused of being cold and heartless. If they do,they are accused of putting on a show.
The only 'winners' in this whole tragic story are the media and they will use whatever it takes to sell their BS.

You can't believe everything the papers say. We don't know for sure how badly she cried, BUT I say, "So What!" If I lost a daughter of mine, I would be crying almost none stop, especially if I was being asked questions, because it would bring forth memories of the little girl and the memories of her disappearance up to the surface. I feel for this family, immensely. This is not the same but I can tell you that I lost a son, and I was finally able to not think about it 24/7 but now and then something would trigger the thoughts and I can assure you that if the media was asking me questions (my family would just ask about Brian-my son- and it would bring back sad memories and my dam of tears would come flooding out). Lets get real, folks. She has lost a precious child!

I do agree with you. Unfortunately our gutter press, when they have nothing better to write about, do tend to revert to petty and sometimes malicious gossip. A sad fact of life but it does sell papers.

All she's doing is putting on a show so she'll get away with it.
The papers of course are going to eat it like its their last meal! Getting those lies out there first is too important for those losers!!!!!
