i know i'm not a guy, but...
i'm a lesbian, so maybe my opinion counts for something...
well.
i don't think about sex all that time.
i mean, i know people make it sound like it's fantastic, and i only think about it once in a while (i'm fully comitted to abstinace).
when i see a really hot girl, i don't really think about having sex with her.
i think... "hmm. maybe i should get to know her better."
like i said before, i'm not a guy,
but most of my friends are...
they like to joke about sex and masturbation (am i allowed to say this? ;D)
and it's kinda gross because they talk about it so much.
but i think once they mature some, they get better?

Typical guy probaly thinks like that in the long run... So i doubt your bf is any better he may not show it but is a typical guy :).
