the first response would be great if you were going to a 70's party! let's get something straight so you dont dress up for the wrong decade. 60's would be hippie's attire. tie-dye maybe some bell bottoms and lots of flowers. 70's is the disco era with more bell bottoms but this time with afros and lots of psychedelic prints...and go-go boots. 80's was neon colors with parachute pants and outrageous hair styles. the 80's had very gaudy accesories that i'm sure you could find everything for at a goodwill or other thrift store. just go and find a dress from the 80's and put a big bow in your hair. good luck.

For a good 80's look, wear an oversized mens white buttonup shirt, roll up the sleeves a bit, put a wide elastic belt over it and add a couple strands of really long beads. Dont forget to wear canvas tennis shoes and slouch socks. You can put your hair in a side ponytail and your makeup should be bright almost neon colors. Dont forget the huge hoop earings

THAT is not 80's. The 80's were parachute pants, padded shoulders, big hair, big jewelry, leg warmers, polo shirts w/ the collar up. Trust me-I lived it!

wear an off the shoulder t-shirt,spandex pants that come just below the knee,bright colored accessories(neon colors if you can find them) a big belt to go around your waist.I'm not sure how long your hair is but you can use some gel to spike it out a bit and put in some funky temporary hair color..if this is not eighties fashion i don't know what is!!

Im not sure if this is from the 70's or 80's , but you could sure dress up as a hippie. Even if it's not from the 80's, who doesnt love a hippie with a rainbow affro?
