3 titles (with another one looking good).
2007: 27td, 2int, 74% completions

he's pretty damn good. If he keeps up this pace, I say he is.

I'm a Chicagoan, but I get a little giddy if the Pats are on in Chicago after the Bears. They KILL people.

What do you think? Who's better in your opinion? What if they go 19-0?

Here are my closing points:

Name a quality all pro reciever that Brady has had before this year. You can't. Manning has had Harrison and Wayne. Montana had Rice and Taylor. Marino had Duper and Clayton.

I'm just saying, the field is level in terms of quality recievers... and look at Brady's year.

Yep... it's a long season and a long career, but the boy exploded since Moss arrived.

Thx everyone

For the modern era, I would say he is, but overall I think you won't find a better one than Otto Ghram from the 50's great Browns teams. I mean all the guy did was win: 10 championship appearances in a row.

Come on the season isnt ever half way over and youre talking 19-0. Are you kidding me? They have a stop off in Indianapolis Nov. 4th which is a team they havent been able to handle the past 3 meeting. As for Tom Brady being the best? I dont think so. You cant say who is the best really. People are on better teams and have better coaches. Not only that but the game changes constantly. Look at the game in the 80's when Dan Marino and Joe Montana were on top. Its changed so much from them. Those guys took hits. Now they have so many rules about hitting the QB its surprised they get hit at all. Why argue everyone has there opinion that they can support. Have a great day and Peace out...........

This is what I can't stand about these type of questions: "Is ____ the best QB Ever?" When their not at the end of their careers! Brady has the rings, so does Terry Bradshaw, but you rarely hear him the Best QB conversation. Yes he's having a unbeilivable year; but considering all the weapons he has and the unbelivable protection he gets from his offensive line, we havent seen this since oh idk.....2004, when Peyton Manning had the EXACT same thing and everyone couldn't get off his jock strap. People stop posting these questions when their not even at the end of their careers.

By the way, I DO have a few names for you that are better than Brady: Brett Favre, Joe Montana, and Johnny Unitas. Now don't get me wrong; as I stated earlier Brady does have the rings and now having a statisically good year. But has he ever blown us away with stats consistently? No. How about all the times his defense has bailed him out, and when they didnt, they were embarrassed (See the AFC Divisional game in 2005 against the Broncos and regular season at Miami). Yes he's a great quarterback and might go down as a hall of famer but it's way too soon. Brett Favre has blown you away with stats, hes only had one losing season in 15 fully starting seasons which is why he owns the wins records and has one the big games and all the 4th quarter comebacks. Joe Montana is the defenition of calm and collective; never flinching and the his wins and Super Bowl MVPs are proof of it, even when his defense didn't carry him. And lets not forget Johnny Unitas, the man who set the standard for what NFL QB's should be in the earlier parts of the NFL.

I think that Tom Brady is looking good, with 27 td's in the first 7 games, but I'm a Skins fan, so I think that they have a shot at beating the Pats, but there just might be some better qb's like:
Brett Favre
Peyton Manning
Dan Marino
John Elway
Joe Montana
Terry Bradshaw
Steve Young
Sammy Baugh
and even Joe Theismann was better

The only reason Brady has those stats is because of his receivers like most of the "BETTER" Qb's that I listed.

Mannings better, but Brady is having a great year. Neither are in the top 5 yet. You can have 20 Super Bowl rings, but it isn't always the qb that makes the team. If the Bears won last year, would you say Grossman is better than Manning. It would have been the defense.

Tom Brady is not the best QB yet!!!!!!!! He has to play good teams , that offer his team a real challenge. What about Joe Montana, John Elway and Peyton Manning? Those are guys that are The superior of Qb's. If Brady can keep healthy and play for another 10 years ask me then.

He isn't yet. What you mention is a career year.

Maybe when he has a performances like The Drive by Elway, The Catch or the game winning drive by Montana against the Bengals.

Because it's not the same finishing a drive for a FG when the game is tied, than finishing for a TD when your team is behind.

Yes, the Tom is the greatest QB of all time. Being in Chicago, you get to watch the Tom's team-mate from Michigan, Brian Griese. Griese is like a little Tom. No one is going to beat the Pats this year. The Tom will go 19-0, throw at least 3 touchdown passes in each game, break all the single season passing records, be NFL MVP and superbowl MVP, and guess what? He's coming back next year!

Brady would be considered the best if he gets to continue playing the worst defenses in the league. It's almost embarrassing. Browns, Fins, Jets, Bengals, Cowboys. Peyton would 40 td's by now with a schedule like that. I am surprised that they weren't able to squeeze the Rams in there somewhere. The pats will finish this year with the #2 seed after losing to the colts and at least one or two more games. Then they will lose to the colts in the afc championship if they don't get smacked by the chargers first.

No, but he is probably the best 'system' QB after Joe Montana. On most teams though, Brady would be just another good QB.
