jon and kate always seem un happy and depressed and i know they must be stressed with all their kids but they actually seem unhappy in their lives and its totally depressing to watch them. like even though they have a hard life they dont even seem appreciative of any part of it. what does everyone else think

I saw them on Ellen and they were so stressed - Jon even more than Kate. I think if he had it to do over, I don't know if he would have.
To yellowfish - they had twin girls and then she gave birth to sextuplets!

I totally agree...I think they are unhappy with each other, especially Jon...look at how Kate always talks down to him. I also feel sorry for the twins, I feel like they get a lot of responsibility put on them for how young they are. Maybe next season they should do family counseling with Jon & Kate.
Edit for response below me: They originally had 2 twins the "normal" way, then the 6 identical babies (sextuplets) were done by Artifical insemination (I think that is how you spell it) They just wanted one more, but ended up with 6. =)

I think that John seems very depressed and unhappy with his life. I watch the show and just think "That poor guy. He must be thinking 'What the hell did I get myself into'". Even in the episode where it showed them going on vacation, just the two of them, they didn't seem in love or happy. I agree with you. Poor poor John though. He seems unhappier than Kate, but maybe she just hides it better.

EDIT: They have a set of twin girls (2) that are 6 yrs old and a set of sextuplets (6) that are 3 yrs old.

I agree with u! They both seems so depressed and very unhappy. Of course with that many kids I think I would be very stressed out too, then to top it off to have a camera following you around. But that was there choice to do this show.
Sure hope she is taking her birth control pills or hope she has her tubes tied because they dont need any more babies.....

They seem somewhat unhappy to me as well. Especially Jon. Kate seems way more stressed...she appears to have a problem with anxiety...how could she not!!!!??? I sure hope they are making a big chunk of money for those cameras intruding their lives. Seems all a bit sad.

There are moments when they seem pretty happy.. but not for very long.. That is a LOT of kids though.. and all around the same age.I feel bad for the older twins..

They are burdened. They have 8 kids and a few cam crew members in their house a lot. How would you feel?
