According to Carl Jung the difference between an introvert and an extrovert has nothing to do with someone's social skills as most people wrongly assume. It is about the way each person prefers to process new information. So for example if you are given a new project idea and told to brainstorm possibilities do you

a. go somewhere alone and brainstorm and formulate on your own before presenting what you came up with

or do you

b. find a group of people and brainstorm ideas together to get the creative juices flowing by bouncing off each other...

Don't confuse what most of society makes as a judgment call that is that it is better to be "extroverted". One way is not better than the other. They are just different ways of processing and getting energy.

From the brief list you've put down there you tick quite a few boxes for 'introvert'.

Bear in mind that there are many different parts to your personality and that you will show them in different ways based on who you are dealing with and in which situations.

There are plenty of tests online that you can do if you're interested in finding what your preference is. Remember that it is just that, a preference. You can actively change these behaviours if you want to. Take a look at doing a Myer-Briggs Type Indicator test.

Don't be too depressed. Different people will see different aspects of you and these may not agree with how you see yourself. That's nothing to worry about. You can't always change how someone responds to you but you can change how you react to them.

Socially i'm an extrovert, in spite of the shown fact that there are a number of aspects of my existence wherein I demonstrate traits of an introvert. i could like my love tournament to purely supplement my sporadic distinction, or a minimum of settle for it.

Introvert - they get more energy through solitude and deep thought instead of through social interactions.

Read "The Introvert Advantage" -- OUTSTANDING book!
