Most people that follow college football. To date this season they have accomplished more than any other team. They are 4-1 against ranked opponents, while the supposed #1 team hasn't played a ranked opponent yet. BC finally played a ranked opponent last night and barely won. That was against a team that LSU had dismantled with a score of something like 48-7.
Last I knew Kentucky had a fairly good team this year.

I'll say they are as good as anyone in the top 5 and probably better than most of them. Take a look at the 6 ranked teams they will have played by the time the season is over. If they go to the SEC Championship game, Then, they will have played 7 ranked teams by season's end. Who else plays that schedule?? Yes.. they are a top 3 team. The inconsistancy of the offensive play calling along with injuries and freshmen have been their shortfall. But, give Kentucky credit where due.. They are very good.

Kentucky's a different team this year than they were in the most recent years. They're much better this year and easily a top 25 team. Once people get that through their heads I think it'll be easier to comprehend. LSU also lost on the road, in TRIPLE overtime, and without their best reciever (Early Doucet). So yes, I can honestly say they deserve to be in the top 3 and, if they win out, playing for the National Championship game.

They beat Virgina Tech 45-7
They've also beaten South Carolina, Auburn, and Florida.
That's 4-1 against Top 20 competition.
Should they be ranked in the top 3? You can make a case that they shouldn't. But are they overrated? Nope.

They have a tough schedule, they are in one of the toughest conference in the ncaa (maybe 2nd to pac 10), also they beat an emotional HYPED UP Virginia Tech team. I think that there should be teams rated above them. I will say this,
I wish the ncaa scheduled USC for them, that way if they beat USC they can without a doubt be considered number 1.

They're pretty good, but injuries need to be assessed. Kentucky has finally gained recognition as being a football school as well as a hoops school.

NO, they would have beat Kentucky if they did not have so many drooped passes and so many penaltys.
