for an ipod? its a bestbuy warranty product service plan? can it be sold like on ebay or do you have to go through the process of transfering it?

No.... You have to sell your iPod W/ the warranty in order to transfer a warranty. And if he has the original receipt and stuff you can sell it on eBay as long as the warranty is valid.

the extended warranty that apple sells can be sold, if that's what you mean, since it comes in a box and is only transfered to your ipod when you use it. It works sort of like a gift card.
